ENS research seminar, conference by A. Morvan : “Multispecies ethnography of wet markets in Cambodia after Covid-19”

On March 28th 2024 OSPAPIK researcher Arnaud Morvan presented his recent work “Multispecies ethnography of wet markets in Cambodia after Covid-19” at the ENS (Ecole Normale Supérieure) research Seminar “Human-animals relations, contemporary issues”, organised by Frédéric Keck, for the forthcoming book « Animal markets and the traffic of wildlife » to be published at the Presses du Museum National d’Histoire Naturelle, edited by F. Keck and F. Vander Velden. Dr. Morvan studied Asian wet markets during the covid 19 pandemics as a place where live animals, their body parts and various animal wastes are put into contact with humans and non-human actors within urban markets considered as ecosystems.
