Ma thèse en 180 secondes – Géraldine Le Roux jury for the regional final

The Brittany 2024 regional final of ‘Ma thèse en 180 secondes’ will take place on Tuesday 19 March 2024 at 7.30pm in the Salle Méridienne at Le Quartz in Brest. 16 doctoral students will take up the challenge of explaining their research topic in French to the general public in the simplest way possible, in just three minutes flat!

At the regional final, the candidates’ performances will be judged by a panel of local players from the socio-economic, cultural, political and research worlds:

Géraldine Le Roux: Senior lecturer in anthropology at the Centre de recherche bretonne et celtique (CRBC,CNRS/Université de Bretagne Occidentale), director of OSPAPIK and winner of the ERC 2023 (Consolidator), Université de Bretagne Occidentale/James Cook University.

Pauline Fercot: Photojournalist and editor for the Tébéo and TébéSud channels.

Arnaud Bellec: PhD from the University of Lyon and head of the geomatics – remote sensing R&D project at Alkante.

Paul-Jacques Hulot: Director of Le Quartz
